Biography:
Alejandro Rutkauskas, born in Buenos Aires, was a student of Szymsia Bajour and Ljerko Spiller. From the beginning of his studies, he developed an active concert activity as a soloist and chamber musician and received numerous awards. In 1987 he came to Europe as concertmaster of the Basel Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, to which he has been concertmaster since 1993, he has recorded works by Ludolf Nielsen and Ernesto Halffter.
