Received at the age of four Anne Gabriel Debaecker Lessons from Maurice Martenot, inventor of the Ondes Martenot. After entering the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, she completed her studies with a state architecture diploma and became a partner in the architects' cooperative Group AURA. Since she not only wants to understand and shape the space, but also wants to hear its music and its resonances, she works with M. Villarroel and becomes the pianist of the Feminine Jazz Band and the jazz tentett ANACAONA; together with C. de Rougement she gives to the dancers of at the Cité Universitaire Internationale Free Dance Song Music-lesson. She is doing her bachelor's degree in musicology at the University of Paris VIII with Marc Battier and Daniel Charles.
She works with L. and M. Petrucciani and with J.-F. Jenny Clarke. As a jazz teacher at the departmental conservatory in Pantin near Paris, she has coordinated the jazz department since 1993. Compositions and stays as composer-in-residence, internships and pedagogical work with O. Sens, G. Orti, G. Demasure, E. Barret, G. Tamisier and P. Since studying architecture, Debaecker has been developing improvisation materials and composing the repertoire (in which she herself plays the piano part) for the »Volutes Quintet« (jazz quintet with R. Taddei, G. Figlionlos, R. Molinier, X. Crochet - later with C. Baretto and S. Foucher). At the same time she founded the publishing house Outer Mesure with C. Fabre, M. Goldberg and P. Baudouin. She completed her music studies at the University of Reims with her diploma thesis on "Improvisation and electroacoustic arrangement in concert practice" under the direction of J.-M. Chouvel off.
She founded the Association with the composer and pianist Patrick Defossez 2d'lyres. She then writes and plays the electro-acoustic music for the »techniscénies« at Reims Cathedral – Fenetres pour Jeanne for Clovis, Source music, Conte des mille et une notes, 2000 Brèves pour l'an 2000, Le septuor de Namurophones, Le Present oublie. Debaecker loves to create colors and plasticity of the electro-acoustic sounds through »live sculpture«: in an improvised dialogue with the black and white of the piano in Toiles de jazz jazz de toiles, S'envol'l'ut en cent volutes (with O. Lété, C. Lété, T. de Pourquery, P. Benech, P. Gisselman, C. Whipple), then in the quartet »L'Échappée intérieure« (with A. Lazennec et J.-F. Piette, J.-L. Pommier and G.
