Biography:
Christopher Poppen won numerous competitions as a violinist and founded the Cherubini Quartet. He gained recognition as a conductor by directing the Munich Chamber Orchestra. Since 2006 he has been chief conductor and music director of the German Radio Philharmonic Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern.
