Biography:
Delia Mayer, born in Hong Kong, lives in Zurich and Berlin. She studied acting, singing and dancing in Vienna, New York and Zurich. at the Vienna Burgtheater, at the Theater an der Wien and at the Theater Basel. As investigator Liz Ritschard, she has played Lucerne since 2012 Scene of the crime-Commissioner. In 2017 she took on a leading role in the movie The last point (Director: Rolf Lyssy). In 2019, Delia Mayer played the role of Claire Zachanassian in The visit of the old lady by Friedrich Dürrenmatt (Luzerner Theater, directed by Angeliki Papoulia and Christos Passalis). Since 2020 she has been in the role of Miriam Shapiro in the Netflix miniseries unorthodox (Director: Maria Schrader).
Delia Mayer can regularly be seen live as a singer in music theater productions and with her own songs (e.g. with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra). She released the CD »These Days«.
