Biography:
Frank Beerman is one of the most distinguished conductors of his generation. The General Music Director of the Chemnitz Theater and Chief Conductor of the Robert Schumann Philharmonic has enjoyed great success in the opera and concert repertoire in recent years. For CD releases with cpo and Sony Classical he was u. a. awarded the Echo Klassik 2009 and the Excellentia Award from Pizzicato, Luxembourg. Guest conducting has taken him to the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin, the Semperoper Dresden and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz.
