Biography:
GIORGIO NETTI was born in Milan in 1963. He studied composition with Sandro Gorli and based his poetry on the »lectures« held in Milan between 1986 and 1995 by Brian Ferneyhough, Gérard Grisey, Emmanuel Nunes, Wolfgang Rihm and Iannis Xenakis. His work is marked by the convergence of initial intuition, instrumental practice and structure in a unified space as a form in which each moment is experienced as unrepeatable uniqueness and local materialization of an expanded cohesive force.
