The Guitar ensemble quasi fantasia is primarily interested in music that leaves conventional paths behind. The focus is on new discoveries of early music (preferably Renaissance) and contemporary works. Working together with composers results in a lively interplay of different musical personalities. The guitars were built by Ermanno Chiavi at the suggestion of the quartet. The tonal range of the octave, fifth, third and prim guitar allows for an ideal interpretation of choral music.
