Biography:
Harry White teaches saxophone at the Musikschule Konservatorium Zürich. He played in many well-known orchestras (including the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, the SWR Symphony Orchestra in Baden-Baden and Freiburg, and the Berlin Philharmonic). As a member of the Raschèr Saxophone Quartet, he has worked with Luciano Berio, Philip Glass and Sofia Gubaidulina, among others.
Pi Chin Chien is an internationally sought-after soloist and chamber musician who performs in the world's major concert halls (including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center New York, Konzerthaus Berlin and Tonhalle Zurich). Her album Taiwan Rhapsody (Sony Classical), on which she interprets Taiwanese folk songs, is currently enjoying great success, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra London. Pi-Chin Chien is a member of the Zurich Ensemble and the Ensemble Kandinsky.
Edward Rushton studied piano and composition (Manchester, Cambridge, Glasgow). In 1998 he moved to Zurich, where he studied song interpretation in Irwin Gage's master class. In 2001 he graduated with honors. Since 2000 he has been a lecturer in song accompaniment at the Lucerne School of Music. He has given concerts with various singers in many European countries, plays in various chamber music formations and has recorded several CDs. Edward Rushton is also known as a composer.
