Biography:
KLAUS-PETER WERANI studied violin and viola at the music academies in Vienna and Munich. Early on he also dealt theoretically with new music and wrote a master's thesis on the music of Luigi Nono at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. He took part in the ensembles of ›Musik der Jahrhunderte‹, Stuttgart and as an ensemble member of the musikFabrik NRW in numerous world premieres.
Klaus-Peter Werani is a member of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist he has premiered numerous compositions and produced them for radio and CD. He formed the TrioCoriolis with Michaela Buchholz (violin) and Hanno Simons (cello). The trio can be heard on the concert stages with both the classical repertoire for string trio and the latest music.
