Biography:

Composing against the dulled ear of postmodernism – that is the declared aim of Matthew Pintscher. Born in Marl [NRW] in 1971, he is now regarded as one of the most important and successful composers of his generation. After training as a pianist, drummer, violinist and conductor, he studied composition with Giselher Kleber and Manfred Trojahn.
