The orchestra, consisting of Jewish and non-Jewish professional musicians, wants to use the universal language of music to promote dialogue and contribute to a culture of coexistence.
Musicians from 23 countries play in the Orchestra Jakobsplatz Munich. In terms of programming, the ensemble focuses on rarely performed works by Jewish composers, combined with music from the 20th and 21st centuries. century. The orchestra also commissions compositions with a Jewish connection.
