Biography:
Petra Hoffman received her vocal training from Elsa Cavelti. In guest contracts she was engaged to the opera houses in Brussels, Madrid, Lisbon, Stuttgart and Venice. As a sought-after interpreter of contemporary works, she is a regular guest at international festivals. Her busy concert schedule led to collaborations with Maurizio Pollini, Claudio Abbado, Michael Gielen, Ingo Metzmacher and Sylvain Cambreling. Numerous CD and radio productions document her wide-ranging repertoire.
