(…) The spectacular sound physics and sensuality of Posadas' music may have contributed to Armin Köhler ordering a total of three works from the Spanish composer for Donaueschingen over the course of his time; the Tries pinturas imaginaris (2014) are dedicated to him. Si la pasada semana visitaba nuestra sección discográfica Arturo Tamayo, con su soberbio monográfico dedicated a la obra orquestal de Iannis Xenakis en el sello mode (299), diez días después es al discípulo más aventajado del director madrileño, el ovetense Nacho de Paz, a quien nos encontramos al frente de este fantástico compacto publicado por el sello NEOS con cuatro partituras firmadas por uno de los mejores compositores españoles y europeos de nuestro tiempo, el castellano Alberto Posadas (Valladolid, 1967). De este modo, podemos sumar en 2018 este nuevo disco a nuestra reseña del pasado mes de marzo en la que dimos cuenta del lanzamiento en naïve (V 5442) del ciclo Sombras (2010-12), partitura de Posadas que entonces conocimos por medio de una estupenda version de la soprano Sarah Maria Sun, el clarinetista Carl Rosman y el tan posadiano Quatuor Diotima.
