The performers of the Freiburg ensemble SurPlus are also excellent [...]; the warm alto by Noa Frenkel lends at least some charm to the music, which is ultimately a bit brittle. All in all, Dániel Péter Biró's Mishpatim (Laws) is definitely an interesting and uncompromising production.
