31.03.2018 enjoyable Swiss clarinettist and composer Matthias Mueller juxtaposes Mozart's Clarinet Concerto with his own works on this enjoyable CD. With the well-prepared Zurich Chamber Orchestra, he plays Mozart in an extremely emotional way and, with his octet, directs the audience to the “Piccolo Concerto Grosso” completed in 2017. Mozart's spirit hovers over everything, but as soon as it is recognized, it vanishes immediately. Great! Christian Berzins
Jasmine Khaleli, 30.09.2017/XNUMX/XNUMX Creative and historically conscious: In his double function as interpreter and composer, the clarinettist Matthias Mueller has presented an excellent reference recording on the Neos label. read the full review here
