31.03.2018 enjoyable The Swiss clarinetist and composer Matthias Mueller presents Mozart's Clarinet Concerto alongside his own works on this enjoyable CD. With the well-prepared Zurich Chamber Orchestra, he plays Mozart extremely emotionally and with his octet leads to the “Piccolo Concerto Grosso”, completed in 2017. Mozart's spirit hovers over everything, but as soon as it is recognized, it immediately evaporates. Great! Christian Berzins
Jasmine Khaleli, 30.09.2017/XNUMX/XNUMX Creative and historically conscious: In his double function as interpreter and composer, the clarinettist Matthias Mueller has presented an excellent reference recording on the Neos label. read the full review here
