Biography:
The Trio Opus 8 was founded in 1986 and has played since then with the same line-up of Michael Hauber (piano), Eckard Fischer (violin) and Mario De Secondi (violoncello). In the year it was founded, it won prizes at chamber music competitions in Colmar, Trieste and Florence, and later in Berlin and Bordeaux. The Trio Opus 8 is a regular guest in all important music centers at home and abroad and has produced numerous radio and television recordings and CD recordings.
